About
Building brands, creating experiences and bringing international ideas to life in the UK.
Meet Romola
My career spans 25 years working with international brands across the UK, France and Canada.
From Harrods and Ladurée to Diptyque, Qinwan and Pierre Hermé Paris, my experience brings together luxury retail, food, hospitality, with a particular focus on market entry, commercial growth, partnerships and creating customer experiences.
I’ve helped brands establish and develop their presence in some of the UK’s most recognised retail and hospitality settings, working closely with landlords, department stores and commercial partners to bring projects to life.
My work has also included collaborations with some of London’s leading cultural institutions, including The National Gallery, Serpentine, ICA, Christie’s, Bonhams and Parasol Unit, alongside participation in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. At Ladurée, I initiated a collaboration around the V&A’s Marie Antoinette Style exhibition.
I combine commercial leadership with a hands-on understanding of what makes a brand succeed: its people, its customers, its story and the details that bring it all together.
Today, through Romola & Co., I help ambitious international brands enter and grow in the UK, adapting their ideas to the local market while preserving what makes them distinctive.
Thoughtful growth. Exceptional experiences. Brands with a sense of place.
